Dr. Zofia Stanley

Consulting

Statistical expert and technical consultant for defense attorneys, nonprofits, and local governments.

I help legal and justice organizations turn messy administrative data into clear, defensible evidence, and I explain it in terms that judges, juries, and policymakers can follow.

My background is in weather and climate modeling, where I worked with large, complex datasets and model output. I bring that experience to legal, nonprofit, and local government projects: working with large datasets and building new mathematical models of systems such as traffic flow when existing tools don't fit the question.

Getting usable data is often the hardest part. I coordinate public records requests, clean and link administrative datasets, and design human-validated AI pipelines that turn documents such as police reports into structured data ready for statistical analysis.

I design and build public-facing tools and dashboards that make complex data accessible. Past work includes the Opportunity Youth Index (video walkthrough), which maps youth disconnection, youth arrests, and parental incarceration across U.S. communities.
